I’m kicking off the season with a creamy spread made with smoked salmon and cream cheese. Smeared on a cracker or stuffed into a celery stalk, this yummy cream cheese is a perfect party starter. P.S. It’s super easy to prepare. Smoked Salmon Cream Cheese1 - 8 oz. block cream cheese, softened to room temperature
4 oz. smoked salmon2 teaspoons lemon juice1 teaspoon prepared horseradish1/4 teaspoon white pepper1 tablespoon chopped scallions1 tablespoon capers, drained Place all ingredients in a food processor and pulse until smooth. Scrape bowl sides with a spatula in between pulses. Store in refrigerator until ready to serve.Smoked salmon cream cheese carries just enough of a punch from the horseradish and capers. A flavorful spread for sure.Serve in celery boats or on crispy crackers.
