Grosse Pointe Farms resident Theresa “T.C.” Keegan, 78, died Sunday, June 11, 2017, at St. John Hospital & Medical Center in Detroit.

She was born Aug. 16, 1938, in Oklahoma City, to Mildred and George Clark and graduated in 1957 from St. Mary’s Cathedral High School. She attended Wichita State University. She retired from the accounts payable department of PVS Chemicals Inc. in Detroit.

T.C. loved theater, opera, travel, playing with her grandkids, spending time in Port Sanilac and enjoying time with family and friends. She was especially active with the Theatre Arts Club in Detroit and was a board member.

T.C. is survived by her daughters, Jenny Haviland (Paul) and Liz Keegan; son, Sean Keegan (Sarah) and grandchildren, Lily, Henry and Luke Haviland and Sydney and Quinn Keegan. She also is survived by her sister, Mary Lee Walling (Hugh) and brothers, George Clark (Letitia) and Jim Clark (MaryAnn).

She was predeceased by her husband, William Keegan and parents.

Visitation will be held 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 15, at Verheyden Funeral Home, 16300 Mack, Grosse Pointe Park. A prayer service begins at 6:30 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 16, at St. Clare of Montefalco Church, 1401 Whittier, Grosse Pointe Park. Visitation begins 10 a.m. at the church.
