Telethon 2002

To the Editor:

The students of TV production classes at Grosse Pointe North and South high schools would like to thank all the people and businesses that have contributed to the success of this coming weekend's "Telethon 2002."

Teachers Brian Stackpoole and Steve Geresy have been preparing their students to produce and broadcast this 22-hour program on Channel 20, local access. We invite everyone this year to view the website for the telethon at http://gpschools.org/telethon.

The website enables a view of most of the items and a list of contributors' names. Items will be numbered to help make calls to bid on specific items. The site lists upcoming interviews and entertainment and the times to catch your favorite.

Items are still coming in so we don't have everyone listed.
