It’s early and head coach Stefan Harris isn’t pushing the panic button after his Grosse Pointe South boys’ soccer team fell to 0-4 last week.

“We have played some decent soccer against three good MAC Red teams, Dakota, Eisenhower and Stevenson, and played a very good DeLaSalle team,” Harris said. “We played better with each game and I think we’re ready to start division play.”

Last week, the Blue Devils lost 4-1 to DeLaSalle and the following night fell 4-2 to Sterling Heights Stevenson.

They trailed host Stevenson 2-0 before tying it on goals by Cam Kotas and Brian Meadow.

The Titans were able to score the final two goals to win the game.

“The guys played a good game and just fell short against Stevenson,” Harris said. “I like the attitude and we will get back to our winning ways.”

Grosse Pointe South hosts Romeo in a division game at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6.
