University Liggett’s girls’ hockey team dropped its fourth straight game last week, losing 5-2 at home to Farmington Hills Mercy. Liggett junior Hannah Hodges, above, and her teammates fell behind 3-0 to Mercy, who is battling for the top spot in the Michigan Metro Girls High School Hockey Division 2 standings at 7-2, while Liggett fell to 5-7 in the MMGHSHL Division 1 standings and 6-8 overall. In the third period, senior Hannah Mason and freshman Molly Murphy scored goals, while senior Aria Ganz-Waple and freshman Grace Scarfone had assists.
