Academy announces new scholarship

January 24, 2013
Grosse Pointe Academy has announced a new scholarship opportunity for current fifth graders entering middle school in the 2013-2014 school year.

Applicants are considered for a $4,500 scholarship, or $1,500 per year during their time in middle school at the Academy. The scholarship is in addition to any financial aid.

The Academy Scholars Challenge is from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Academy.

Interested students have a personal interview and campus visit to "experience the Academy Advantage," while parents meet the same day from 9 to 10:30 a.m. to learn about the school's programs and special offerings.

For more information or to register, contact admissions director, Molly McDermott, at (313) 886-1221 or at mmcdermott@gpacademy.org.

Grosse Pointe Academy currently awards more than $700,000 in need-based financial aid to students in grades 1 to 8.
