Grosse Pointe Park resident Mary Naber, president and CEO of PACE Southeast Michigan, received the Spirit of Detroit Award from the Detroit City Council June 21. Detroit City Council President Brenda Jones presented the award to Naber at PACE Southeast Michigan’s Rivertown Center in Detroit. Naber was recognized for her achievement, leadership and dedication to improving the lives of others in Detroit.


PACE Southeast Michigan serves chronically ill, nursing-home-eligible seniors in Detroit and southeast Michigan, helping them maintain their independence. The health plan, funded by Medicare and Medicaid, provides services in an innovative, integrated care model. Naber has been leading the organization since 2014.
