Honey mustard is one of my favorite dipping sauces.

A popular choice, the stuff that comes in a small jar can cost big bucks. Therefore I'm bringing you a three-ingredient recipe for house-made honey mustard sauce. I snagged this gem from my gal pal Jen Upshur who told me her mom, Kimberly, makes it all the time and the family loves it.

Kimberly's Honey Mustard Sauce

1 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup yellow mustard

1/4 cup honey

1 tablespoon finely chopped chives (optional)

Combine mayonnaise, mustard and honey in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Refrigerate until ready to serve.

Little ones will love this sweet and tangy dipper with chicken fingers or pretzel rods. I stirred in some fresh chopped chives and drizzled this flavorful sauce over grilled kielbasa and potatoes.

Kimberly's honey mustard is a winner.
